Hera II a donc
chats.

I forgot to say that Saranda is only a ferry port.
Cargo ships go to the large port of Durres, further north.
Jelja, our agent comes to pick up the passports at 9
a.m. as planned but she apologizes, she also has to arrange the papers for the
catamaran behind us and it will take a little time. No problem, we have time.
This catamaran still has the Greek courtesy flag, it has not changed to the Albanian
one and, another minus, the guy washes his boat with fresh water… in a dry
country, that is not done. Jelja returns with all the papers in order. It's
funny, the papers are made for large ships with information on the tonnage, the
cargo transported, its weight, the crew list etc... We thank her, she was
efficient and friendly and it cost 57 €. The catamaran leaves and we just
after. The navigation is not too complicated today, we are doing the same route
as on the outward journey but in the other direction. Not a breath, sea of
oil. We have lunch en route and arrive at Port Mandraki, the same marina as
the other day at 2 p.m. Jens immediately goes by bike to the Port Authority
then to Emigration and Customs. Not too much of a problem and it's done in an
hour and a half. But what a lot of papers with copies in triplicate, stamps and
signatures. Hera II therefore has a new “Transit Log” and will have to leave
the European Union in 18 months (but the time she spends on land does not
count!). Ankerdram (a drink to celebrate the arrival, in Norwegian) and
swimming down a ladder at the corner of the marina. “Work” for both of us, Jens
is looking at the guides and the map to find where we are going tomorrow and I do
the blog. This in music: the marina is just below the windows of the City of Corfu
music school, we are even entitled to vocalisations. Dinner in town at the same
restaurant as the other time, but without attending the cats dinner.
