Beau et calme, c’est incroyable cette belle période qui
continue et continue. Nous allons en zodiac à la plage, c’est loin, nous sommes
ancrés assez loin de la côte. Nous tirons le zodiac sur la plage, mais ici il
n’y a pas de marée, pas besoin de le tirer bien haut. Nous marchons sur la
plage et trouvons plein de bouts de verre polis. Nous montons voir la
forteresse bâtie par les Vénitiens et redescendons vers le village de Parga.
Peu de « vraies » boutiques mais pleins de souvenirs, vêtements, bijoux
… Joli village dans une petite baie. Nous prenons un jus d’orange, marchons un
peu et faisons quelques courses. Retour vers Ormos Valtou, notre baie et cette
fois nous marchons sur la rue qui longe la baie, c’est plus facile que de
marcher dans le sable. Freyja, l’autre Hallberg-Rassy, part, lui aussi vers le
sud, ils vont à Ormos Fanari. Nous nous baignons, déjeunons et levons l’ancre à
15 h. Nous essayons à la voile, mais il n’y a pas assez de vent. Courte
traversée et nous arrivons à Two Rock Bay à 17 h. Nous sommes le seul voilier
et les quelques personnes qui sont sur la plage s’en vont à 17 h 30, quand la
plage devient à l’ombre. Quel luxe ! Nous avons cette baie idyllique pour
nous tout seuls. Nous nous baignons et faisons le tour du bateau, bon petit
diner, mais une toute petite houle rentre dans la baie et Hera II roule. On est
obligé de mettre les assiettes sur un chiffon mouillé qui fait un peu ventouse,
sinon la table étant lisse, tout glisse d’un côté puis de l’autre.

Beautiful and calm, it's incredible this beautiful
period that continues and continues. We go by zodiac to the beach, it's far, we
are anchored quite far from the coast. We pull the zodiac on the beach, but
here there is no tide, no need to pull it high. We walk on the beach and find
lots of polished pieces of glass. We go up to see the fortress built by the
Venetians and go down to the village of Parga. Few "real" shops but
full of souvenirs, clothes, jewelry... Pretty village in a small bay. We take
an orange juice, walk a little and do some shopping. Back to Ormos Valtou, our
bay and this time we walk on the street that runs along the bay, it's easier
than walking in the sand. Freyja, the other Hallberg-Rassy, also goes south,
they go to Ormos Fanari. We swim, have lunch and weigh anchor at 3 p.m. We are
trying to sail, but there is not enough wind. Short crossing and we arrive at
Two Rock Bay at 5 p.m. We are the only yacht and the few people on the beach
leave at 5:30 p.m., when the beach becomes shady. What luxury! We have this
idyllic bay all to ourselves. We bathe and swim around the boat, good little
dinner, but a very small swell enters the bay and Hera II rolls. We have to put
the plates on a wet cloth which doesn’t slide, otherwise the table being
smooth, everything slides to one side then the other.
